update codespace secret

Hello
I have accidental created a secret for DB url enclosed in quotes:
"postgresql://postgres:postgres@fl-flask-maps_devcontainer_db_1:5432/flaskblog"
which creates an error on runtime.
Multiple updates to the value does not reflect in codespace env, still the old value with quotes.
delete and recreate does not change the value !
2 new created secrets without quotes are showing no value in env via: echo $var.
rebuild codespace and full rebuild does not change anything.
Other secrets like api key, db pwd,.. created in the 1 round are working fine.
now I am stuck, what am I doing wrong, any help ?

For anyone with the same problem:
restart the codespace helps for vars in env
rebuild afterward to set the new vars in the containers
