Welcome to the dmx-lighting-interface wiki!

This will hopefully get better as the project progresses

User Experience Steps:

  1. Install
  2. Open App
  3. Create a light set
  4. Create a scene
  5. Create animation effects (or sequences of scenes)
  6. Create quick access buttons
  7. Link with Thorium (or outside program)
  8. Create Triggers

Definitions

Light Set: A map of DMX devices with addresses. Device specific channels are listed. Input / Output devices are also specified Scene: A set of values (0-255) sent through DMX. These values can be set by an address or by a channel category (address specification takes precedence) Animation: A series of keyframes with durations and equations that alter the values of the scene.
