Icon on windows client is changing to "done" while larger file is still downloading. Effect is, that client say "All synced" while I can't see all my files...

Some kind of popup when i go over owncloud icon in tray with info or maybe just progress bar or list within client window would be perfect...

I would like to have some kind of progressbar.
Yesterday I did think that my sync was stuck, but instead it was uploading a 3.7GB ISO file via a 500kbit/s uplink...

A progress bar to find out how far synchronization has gone would be very nice specially for large folders or bad connections.

I have also seen a strange behaviour I cannot understand. I have set a huge (13GB) folder to synchronize to my server. When I start the owncloud 1.2.3 client on windows this folders shows in green as if it was synced though I am certain it isn't (still a few GB missing). After a few minutes it changes the icon to the blue circled one meaning (if I understand correctly) it is synchronizing (that is what the info window says). I guess that the green state is set while finding out if something needs to be synced. I believe during that period it should be in some other state (gray?) not to be confusing.

Progress bar should be implemented in an intelligent way, though:
Best in my opinion: NOT a percentage based on file number (i.e. 50 / 100 files = 50%), but based on total Mbytes that need to be Uploaded/downloaded.
That would give a much better estimate on the time needed to finish the transfer. (E.g. If there are 99 tiny files, but one huge file, then the progress bar would be stuck forever with the huge file. When using percentage based on data-amount, progress bar would work continuously, and user could better estimate working time).

Consider please.

I agree. The combination between percentage of MB if that is available, together with the instantaneous upload/download speed is what would be best. The wuala client is a good example in my opinion of what I believe would help getting a feeling of what's going on.

This is a duplicate of #137 (report sync progress in UI).
