No PDF preview on shared link

I cannot view a pdf when it is shared via the shared link:

Console says that:
{"data":{"message":"Authentifizierungs-Fehler"},"status":"error"}

Which means authetication error.

In the HTML DOM is the "no preview" div. But it is also not shown. Preview of other files like pcitures works.

I am getting no error in Apache log or ownCloud log. Due this, I have no clue what is causing that problem.
