@bishwasojha please try what happens when you actually share with a group, do users that are members of the group (in LDAP) receive the share?

@individual-it users who are Members of the group do not receive the file when it is shared with the group.

I'm absolutely no expert when it comes to LDAP, and I may be wrong here, but it doesn't look like a Web issue at a first glance. Web requests groups via the graph API. If the response is missing information, that sounds more like a backend or configuration issue.

users who are Members of the group do not receive the file when it is shared with the group.

This also sounds like some issue with the LDAP setup.

  • add user to existing group - same behavior POST 302
  • delete user from group - is not possible via ldap

tbh: I have no idea what is happening with LDAP here, it might be a faulty template (but that is just a wild guess). I suggest we wait until @rhafer returns

@rhafer rhafer self-assigned this Nov 23, 2022

The setup was configured to use a mix of the 'groupOfNames' and
'groupOfUniqueNames' objectclasses/attributetypes for groups. This
aligns the configuration and sample data to use just'groupOfNames'.
