Document how to do file upload or multipart/form-data

I cannot find any information on how to do file upload with pact-python for consumer test. Kindly advice

Faced with the same, it's strange that JVM and JS has the solution to upload multipart and python does not

It's because the current Ruby core that we use in Python doesn't support it, but the rust core does.

The point is to test the headers and things, you can't match the binary contents themselves

@YOU54F It seems the binary upload is supported in V3, do we have any examples or doc to explain how to get it done?

If you use the pact.v3 submodule (which is still in preview), you should be able to do this. Specifically, with the with_multipart_file method.

There's also an example that's part of the compatibility suite, although that is quite abstracted and isn't super useful from a pedagogical perspective; however, looking at it, it actually makes use of the with_body and with_binary_body methods.

I'll close this as it is part of pact.v3 and there are no intentions to try and retrofit this into the v2 code.

Maybe an observation from my side: it is not clear for my side if multipart/form-data is supported in v3--> can we prepare an interaction using with_multipart_file and something else ?
I don't know how to attach a body as part in my multipart.
See this test for instance using only with_multipart_file

Any clue ?
