redrawtime exceeded syntax highlighting disabled

Using this plugin and opening firefox's pref.js file and scrolling past one or two pages makes neovim lag a lot and then throw this error

redrawtime exceeded syntax highlighting disabled

I disabled this plugin and opened the file again and it doesn't lag or throw any errors.

Even if I set redrawtime=10000, the lag still remains.
