For Translators
Since translations are only updated when a new version of Sub-Zero is released, it might be nice for a translator to actually see his/hers translations "in action"
So here's howto:
- Download the newest version of the translation branch, found here: https://github.com/pannal/Sub-Zero.bundle/archive/i18n.zip
- Note: Above is for a manual installation, but if already using it via Git, then simply checkout the
i18nbranch - Note2: This branch is in developer mode, and as such, will NOT automatically update!
- Note3: All your existing settings of Sub-Zero will be retained, so not to worry here

- Change the language of your Plex client (most likely Plex Web) to the language you want to translate to
- Export your language into a json file from POEditor
- Select your language, as you normally do when translation
- Select top icon from the toolbar on the right, named "Export"
- Export as a json file (Key Value)
- Rename json file from like
Sub-Zero_Danish.jsonintoda.json, whereDanishanddarepresents the Danish language, so substitute with relevant language and language code - Copy the downloaded/renamed json file to
<Sub-Zero plugin dir>/Contents/Strings
- Wait 2 min, and if Sub-Zero hasn't switched into using your language, restart PMS
