So, does this mean that if someone needs to update the documentation, they will have to make changes in two different places, requiring two different pull requests?

The long term goal is to drastically reduce the size of README content across all Parse repositories. The README should only contain basic information that is directly related to the repository (installing, etc.), some very basic code examples that are unlikely to change over time and meta information.

So virtually all doc changes should happen in the docs repository. We also may look for a solution where we move the docs of each product into the respective repository so the docs can be updated in one go with the code in the same PR. It's somewhat cumbersome having to open 2 PRs across 2 repositories for 1 change.
