Highly influenced by Hemmingway Editor this plugin attempts to add similar functionality to Obsidian.
This plugin leverages Retext and its amazing plugin ecosystem to suggest improvements to your writing. It will highlight text in Obsidian and provide mouseover tooltips on improvements you can make to your writing.
Retext plugins available:
Show or hide highlights with the Obsidian Readability: Toggle highlights
command.
This plugin only supports English at the moment. I have no plans to add any other languages since I don't speak any and wouldn't have any idea if its useful or not. Feel free to send a PR with additional languages.
I provide no guarantees for any of this code. This plugin glues Retext to Obsidian and that's about the extent of my expertise in the field of readability.
Fair warning: If you want a feature, you are more than welcome to send pull requests to this repository. I have no SLA for when or if I'll get around to it though.
