PC Medlink Govathon Email Announcement

• I would like to invite all experienced Ruby/Rails folks to join me at the Govathon Hackathon next weekend (Nov 15-16, 2013) and work on our open source Peace Corps Medical Supplies app that we created at the Random Hacks of Kindness Hackathon in June 2013.

• Some of the targeted issues include improving JavaScript, upgrading an old SMS-related gem, and wiring up AJAX into the application.

• Your expected commitment would be only for the event.

• Please reply to my email by the start of ATLRUG meeting on Wed (11/13/2013).

• Also if you have questions, please contact me.

Additional Material

• Objective:

  • To work on remaining existing issues with the app.
  • To test the existing app.

• Status: Partial operational

• Target Customer: Volunteers and Medical Officer in the Peace Corps
