View admin UI using (admin, default password from second command):

kubectl port-forward svc/argo-cd-argocd-server -n argocd 8080:443
kubectl -n argocd get secret argocd-initial-admin-secret -o jsonpath="{.data.password}" | base64 -d; echo

Functionality:

• Syncs all manifests available in the pennlabs/kube-manifests repository
• If a namespace is not defined in the k8s manifest, falls back to namespace defined in server.additionalApplications.destination.namespace

Current bug:

• Admin UI displays ingress as progressing when its fully synced (Deployment is still progressing since Ingress resource is not considered as synced argoproj/argo-cd#1704) which we might need to add an annotation for? Doesn't seem to actually affect functionality

Duplicate manifests:

• Tested the case where two manifests defined the same resource
• Displayed a DuplicateResourceDefinition warning (Application warning when a manifest is defined twice argoproj/argo-cd#1070)
• Seems to be implemented properly

Just to make sure I'm understanding it correctly, for the duplicated manifests, if I have two identical YAML copies of a certificate, argo will output a warning but still sync them, and if I delete one instance, it won't delete the certificate?

A couple more questions:

1. Is kube-manifests repo supposed to be private? If so, we'll have to update the terraform and give argo credentials to access it.
2. Are we planning on setting up a webhook so that argo doesn't have to keep polling the kube-manifests repo?
