you will need an i686-elf toolchain see osdev wiki for
instructions
$ make
to run with qemu:
$ make run
to run with qemu and gdb
$ make gdb
to build a bootable iso image:
$ make petix2.iso
will be available once appropriate disk and file system drivers are ready
markdown man pages are available in skel/man
to enable the frame buffer, uncomment line 6 of [kernel/arch/i686/boot.s].
you will probably also want a termial, so add the line /dev/comtty to
[skel/etc/ttys].
