We should use optional chaining instead of hasOwnProperty in layout/scripts/sort_by_date.svelte:

if (a.hasOwnProperty("fields") && b.hasOwnProperty("fields")) {

Seems to be supported in 3.24.0: sveltejs/svelte#1972 (comment) but I do still get syntax errors in VSCodium when I try to implement.
