@jensens thanks for creating this Pull Request and help improve Plone! To ensure that these changes do not break other parts of Plone, the Plone test suite matrix needs to pass. Remark: In new sites there is a subscriber in
plone.uuidadding the attribute. After migration it seems this was not triggered and need manual intervention here.related: plone/Products.CMFPlone#3312
