As noted in pydata/pandas-datareader#977 ,
pandas_datareaderis unmaintained for 3+ years, and many of the readers are broken. Additionally, even importingpandas_datareaderis broken in Python 3.12 . Therefore it is time forffnto remove support for using said library.Related issue:
