Wrapper around polygon-city-cli
to convert a directory of CityGML files into GeoJSON footprint indexes and 3D models (obj & collada)
- npm and Node v5 (https://nodejs.org/dist/v5.2.0/node-v5.2.0.pkg)
- Redis (http://redis.io/download#installation)
- A Mapzen Elevation Service key (https://mapzen.com/developers)
$ npm install polygon-city-cli-multi@latest -g
Processing a new CityGML file:
$ polygon-city-multi -c <epsg_code> -E <mapzen_elevation_key> -o /path/to/obj/output/directory /path/to/cityGml/input/directory
Resuming previous unfinished jobs:
$ polygon-city-multi resume
- Run
npm install polygon-city-cli-multi -g
- Start a local Redis server (using port 6379)
- Download some CityGML data from Linz, Austria
- Take note of the EPSG code used for the Linz dataset (EPSG:31255)
- Run the command line tool:
$ polygon-city-multi -c 31255 -E "your_mapzen_elevation_key" -o /path/to/obj/output/directory /path/to/cityGml/input/directory
