Frequent black screens in browsing area of Qutebrowser

When using Qutebrowser in COSMIC, I frequently get flashes of black screens when pages are loading or other things are happening in the browser.

The easiest way to replicate this is if you highlight text and then right click to copy it. The copy menu shows up, but the entire browsing area turns black while that menu is visible. Well, most of the time at least. It happens almost every time on Github.

This doesn't occur when I switch over to GNOME, so I believe this is an issue related to COSMIC. Kind of an oddly specific issue, but it may point to other more serious issues with COSMIC's rendering. This was tested on Fedora 40.
