With more users turning to the lazer editor, one of the remaining pain points is loading a new beatmap and getting timing setup. Right now unless you know the exact offset/bpm, it's impossible to begin mapping.
This work will see the basic "timing wizard" setup which guides a user through finding the correct offset and BPM. It may also extend to design updates for the surrounding components in the editor.
Approaching the tail end of this. With everything merged, the whole flow of timing is feeling pretty good. Remaining main piece of puzzle is a tap button to get an approximate BPM.
Another thing I was looking at is a better offset workflow for audible adjustment (ie. looping over one beat around the current offset to allow for fine tuning), but I'm going to leave this for a future effort. It can already be done manually by clicking the play button.
