Are there any download page implications to think about since this is an alias, or does the download page just handle the aliasing stuff automagically when things like this are merged?

We've done this with a few other aliases (e.g. https://github.com/prebid/prebid.github.io/blob/master/dev-docs/bidders/onefiftytwo.md), and followed the same format as the AppNexus aliases adapters (e.g. https://github.com/prebid/prebid.github.io/blob/master/dev-docs/bidders/defymedia.md).
