Can this be deployed using an IAM role instead of persistent keys?

Hi. Thank you for including this example. 

We're trying to get rid of all persistent access and secret keys in our org by replacing them with temporary access using IAM roles. I noticed the docs point to using keys. Please update docs to show how to use with a role
