So are we going to release it without any migration strategy, documentation or tooling? The reason SoundCloud hasn't upgraded any of our installations is lack of that. A migration guide and an example rules file to support both and old names as suggested in #830 should be added first imo. |

@grobie PRs welcome ;) @SuperQ You opened that issue though, so I agree we shouldn't release this without first figuring out what to do regarding the issue. I'd be okay with closing it concluding that nobody has time for that. Personally I think that's fine as long as it's clear this is a breaking release. There is no strict need to upgrade and plenty of downstream vendors and agencies who can help people with the migrations. |

+1 to @discordianfish's comment. @grobie I have very little time right now, but if you think a small upgrade guide and a copy of the example migration rules would be sufficient, I can work on that. |
