When set, the server attempts to automatically build dependencies, and even clone them if not yet present. When unset (the default), get the usual failfast behavior.

When set, the server attempts to automatically build dependencies that have not yet been built, and even clone them if not yet present.
When unset (the default), get the usual failfast behavior.
So, this provides a convenience when you simply want a build to work, without having to manually prepare all the dependencies first.
