As far as I can tell you are using your own python/klayout or you are using a newer version of the container (eg 2025.1, 2025.2 or 2025.3) while we currently only test and support 2024.10, 2024.11 and 2024.12.

This fails because container version 2025.1 uses python 3.12, which deprecates imp in favor of importlib.
Then you get your error, identical to the one found here: IHP-GmbH/IHP-Open-PDK#290
The newest

As we internally use 2025.1 as well, I will look into how to best fix this on our side but this might take a while.
For now you can either switch to using the container version 2024.10, 2024.11 or 2024.12 or you will need to update the pypreprocessor submodule to a newer version or manually fix it as described in the linked issue.
