Describe the bug
A clear and concise description of what the bug is.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Use an ItemControl
  2. Set it as source but not as target
  3. The preview will not shown

Expected behavior
The preview should come up also if the source is not the target.
