Windows has missing InstallPath registry

Hi,
I'm new to Hatch and just installed Hatch v1.8.1 on a Windows 11 machine via the GUI installer. I can run Hatch fine but I'm getting a strange registry warning:

WARNING:virtualenv.discovery.windows.pep514:PEP-514 violation in Windows Registry at HKEY_CURRENT_USER/PythonCore/3.11/InstallPath error: missing
WARNING:virtualenv.discovery.windows.pep514:PEP-514 violation in Windows Registry at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/PythonCore/3.10/InstallPath error: missing
WARNING:virtualenv.discovery.windows.pep514:PEP-514 violation in Windows Registry at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/PythonCore/3.11/InstallPath error: missing

I have Python 3.12 installed on my machine (via WinGet) and I don't want/care to use 3.11 or 3.10. How do I make this warning go away? Also, I've defined my project's env to use 3.12 but noticed that when I run hatch fmt it creates its own (different) environment that uses 3.11.

Please let me know how I can resolve this registry error!

Hello! Can you please explain what you are running exactly that outputs those warnings?

Can you please run the command again? I'm guessing it only happens when creating environments.

With the environment already created, I enter in from a fresh shell:

This is the fix to prevent those messages on subsequent command invocations #1152

For the first time, I cannot fix and I would recommend opening an issue on https://github.com/pypa/virtualenv

Thanks for looking into this! I'll try it out in the next update and investigate further on the virtualenv repo if needed 👍
