This is very odd to me. Maybe I should have mentioned this before but I managed to successfully package the wheel file with the changes from #105 with on top of that setting the environment variable mentioned in pypa/hatch#1368 before building since otherwise it would cause an error during the building phase with the error: But if this was the problem in this case I would have assumed that you would have gotten an error for the classifier string as well. |
