I'm planning to release mypy 0.550 around Friday Nov 10. I hope to cut the release branch Monday Nov 6.

I would like to see #4217 included so we can resolve python/typeshed#525.

OK, #4217 is resolved (as is python/typeshed#525) and I've cut the release branch: https://github.com/python/mypy/tree/release-0.550

Given our new release schedule/policy (every ~3 weeks) I don't plan to cherry-pick anything unless our internal testing comes up with something. Everyone else should also try internal testing with this branch. (@ambv if you have time that would be great.)
