Thanks for the quick fix. As soon as I've confirmed this I'll merge it and do the whole dance to get it into our codebase (include typeshed sync, if there are no issues there).

But I'll probably create another issue to come up with a cleaner solution, the whole thing feels like it's going to blow up again in the future.
