There is a rather lengthy discussion going on at the sfosc repo (where I am a member) about what sustainable open source is, and I think that showing our users that we really are invested in open source is a good thing to do. Here is some background information:

I should note, the "principles" about SFOSC are not the same as the "Greater Good" affirmation link.
