Illustration of how something like the proposed dbt-labs/dbt-core#1971 behaviour could be implemented inside the
insert_overwritebehaviour that replaced it in dbt-labs/dbt-core#2140; much of the approach is quite similar to that originally proposed anyway, so it seems relatively straightforward.
