[Bug]: Navbar items not translated in Japanese on React Docs site #881

Description

@Rudra2637

Summary

Description

When viewing the Japanese version of the React documentation website (https://ja.react.dev/), several navigation bar items remain in English instead of being localized into Japanese.
This includes items such as *Learn, **Reference, **Community, **Blog, and *Search.

This issue affects the consistency and accessibility of the localized documentation experience.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Visit the React documentation homepage in English: https://react.dev/
  2. Switch to the Japanese version by clicking the language selector or directly visiting https://ja.react.dev/
  3. Observe that the navigation bar still displays English text.

Expected Behavior

All navigation elements, including the top navbar items, should be translated into Japanese to match the localized documentation content.

Actual Behavior

Even after switching to the Japanese version of the site, several navbar items remain in English:

  • Learn
  • Reference
  • Community
  • Blog

Possible Cause

This may be caused by missing or incomplete translations in the Japanese localization files for the navigation bar UI.
Localization keys for these strings might be missing or not mapped correctly in the translation configuration.

Environment

Suggested Fix

If localization contributions are open, I would like to help fix this issue by:

  • Finding the file where the issue lies.
  • Adding or updating missing strings for navbar elements.
  • Testing the fix locally before submitting a PR.

Additional Context

This issue does not occur on the English version of the site and seems limited to the Japanese locale.
Ensuring full translation coverage improves accessibility for international users and aligns with the multilingual goals of React Docs.

Contributor Note

I’ve reviewed the Contributing Guidelines and will ensure that any changes or PRs follow the established code and documentation standards.

Thank you for maintaining such high-quality documentation — I’d be happy to help improve the localization experience.
