How it works

The performance of the circulation (especially checkin and checkout) is still unsatisfying.

The following was observed:

  • in general, a checkout is slower than a checkin
  • a checkin of an item that is requested is slower than a standard checkin

Context

On 27.09.21, a performance comparison was made between the RERO+ libraries and no significant difference was observed. The libraries decided to wait the resolution of other important circulation issues (#2244 #2259 #2367 ) and to prioritize this issue afterward.

Improvement suggestion

Checkins and checkouts are quicker.
