ruby_gettext_extractor is currently solely used (and bundled) by michael grossers gettext_i18n_rails project. The bundled version can be considered to be the current upstream. This repository remains for historical purposes.
Please contact me on github if you are planning to use ruby_gettext_extractor outside the scope of gettext_i18n_rails.
ruby_gettext_extractor aims to replace the default ruby parser shipped with the gettext. The normal ruby gettext parser is unable to find gettext invokations within strings, like “Foo: #{_(”bar“)}”.
