hmmm.. not sure if it makes sense to add this to the core.

My opinion to this: Its sounds more like a "nice to have" feature. I would keep it as it is and use something which already exists and extend it to my needs.

Example: https://github.com/OzanKurt/Repoist i think this is doing what you want.

You only have to change the stubs inside the package.

But, if you have another opinion to this, please let me know :)
