This repository has the code for cleaning up and arranging your folders automatically.
The code is written in Javascript using NodeJs and using filesystem modules.
You have to provide the link for your source path and your destination folder. ( They can be same too ) The program works by arranging the files based on the extensions and the time of creation of the file. It sorts different file formats like MP3, MP4, PNG, TXT in Music, Video, Images and documents respectively. A parent folder will be made which holds the year the File was made and further arranges the folder.

This project can be used to arrange folders and files and make documents easily accessible.
To run the program
- Clone the repository to your local storage.
- NodeJs needs to be installed.
- Add the Source and Destination folder.
- Run the code using filter.bat(for windows) or filter.sh(for Linux).
