Word list

The word list can either contain words and clues, or just words (you can write the clues later, or just use the word bank). Each word and clue, or word, needs to be on a separate line.

If the word list contains words and clues, each word should be separated from the clue with a space.

In the following example, the first word of each line (coconut, third and excalibur) is the word, and the rest of the line is the clue.

coconut A fruit that possibly migrates.
third 'The ______________ Test Match', a film by Pasolini.
excalibur The sword that a moistened bint lobbed at Arthur.

If you want to use a dictionary file with genxword-gtk, you can use the Sort word list option, in the Word list drop-down menu, to sort the word list from the shortest to the longest word and to remove any non-alphabetic characters.
