This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app
.
This is NextJS application with Pages router that uses MUI CSSVarsProvider fot theming.
At _app.tsx
there is a Wrapper
component that uses the hook useColorScheme
.
As Wrapper
is under CssVarsProvider
it should work without any issue.
When using NextJS 13.5.6
we get error the errorMUI: useColorScheme must be called under CssVarsProvider
with the static generated pages (index, 404 and 500)
This does not happen with NextJS 13.4.19
and below.
Run next dev
or next build
with NextJS 13.5.6
to trigger the error.
Change version to 13.4.19
and you will not get any error.
First, run the development server:
npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
# or
pnpm dev
# or
bun dev
Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.
You can start editing the page by modifying pages/index.tsx
. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.
API routes can be accessed on http://localhost:3000/api/hello. This endpoint can be edited in pages/api/hello.ts
.
The pages/api
directory is mapped to /api/*
. Files in this directory are treated as API routes instead of React pages.
This project uses next/font
to automatically optimize and load Inter, a custom Google Font.
