Image Generator

Purpose:

This project provides a RESTful API for generating images dynamically based on various parameters. The API allows users to specify the image dimensions, background color, text content, text color, and font size to create customized images.

Usage:

To generate an image, send an HTTP GET request to the appropriate API endpoint, providing the desired parameters in the URL query string. For example:

http://localhost:8080/img/800/250/1D7373/Hello%20World/FFFFFF/100

This request will generate an image with the following specifications:

• Width: 800 pixels
• Height: 250 pixels
• Background color: #1D7373
• Text: "Hello World"
• Text color: #FFFFFF
• Font size: 100

Performance:

The API has been designed with performance in mind. Benchmark tests using wrk have demonstrated high request rates and low latency, even under load.

Additional Considerations:

Error handling: The API should implement appropriate error handling mechanisms to provide informative responses for invalid requests. Security: Consider implementing security measures to protect against potential vulnerabilities, such as input validation and rate limiting.
