URL to the section(s) of the book with this problem:

`add_to_waitlist` function? In Listing 7-3, we simplified our code a bit by

Description of the problem:

In the sentence, "In Listing 7-3, we simplified our code a bit by removing some of the modules and functions," the phrase, "we simplified," doesn't scan. Its simple past tense is understood as indicating something in the text located above (i.e., in the reader's past).

Suggested fix:

The phrase should be changed to: "we simplify." And thus the sentence would be:

"In Listing 7-3, we simplify our code a bit by removing some of the modules and functions."

Or alternatively the phrase could be changed to: "we've simplified." And thus the sentence would be:

"In Listing 7-3, we've simplified our code a bit by removing some of the modules and functions."
