The examples on some of the pages don't have proper syntax highlighting. This happens on the following pages:

  • Lifetimes
  • Global Constants
  • Traits
  • Copy and Clone

This has been fixed upstream (highlight.js), but gitbook hasn't pull in the changes because highlight.js hasn't release a new version with the fix.

As a workaround, I have patched my local gitbook with the latest highlight.js, and now the site has proper syntax highligthing.

I'll keep this open until gitbook pulls highligth.js fix. And I'll have to be careful to patch my local gitbook whenever a new gitbook version is released.

This has been a very long time, and given that it will eventually be fixed in upstream, I'm giving it a close.
