Summary

The official German language rules have been updated to map 'ß'.to_uppercase() to 'ẞ' a few years ago and we we're trying to get that reflected in Unicode.

This issue is about updating the example at https://doc.rust-lang.org/std/primitive.char.html#method.to_uppercase, not changing the mapping of ß. That will be done as part of our regular update of Unicode rules.

I proposed this change because this mapping is a often-copied example of an uppercase mapping that produces multiple characters, despite being the most likely mapping to change.

I think that makes it a bad example compared to e.g. ligature codepoints like fi that will only ever map to the same sequence of code points (obviously FI for my example)
