I ran cargo check on this code https://github.com/xd009642/tarpaulin/tree/5d70da979092e305be12024b60c7fb6c590cee6b
I hadn't put rustc_serialize in my cargo file so I would have expected cargo check to report an error like cargo build. However, it panicked.

This looks like a duplicate of #40755, in which case it should have been fixed by now -- could you try again with the latest nightly?
Sorry, something went wrong.
Just tried with the nightly and it works. Sorry for the duplicate.
No problem :)
