I could have sworn this worked, but now I get the following

../src/test/run-pass/alt-range.rs:25:6: 25:9 error: lower range bound must be le
ss than upper
../src/test/run-pass/alt-range.rs:25       1.0 to 5.0 {}

This is not xfailed on windows and I can't recall anybody complaining about it, so I assume everything's ok.
