Maybe you would like rename the file like mv launcher.py myprogram
or mv launcher.sh myprogram
and then run it with ./myprogram
or ./myprogram firstArg secondArg
Running example
./launcher.py
./launcher.sh
./launcher.py firstArg secondArg
./launcher.sh firstArg secondArg
