### Automatic Updates

As we continue early development of the HarvestVendor Beta, automatic updates are enabled. Upon launching the application a check will be made in the background for a new version. When a new version is identified, it will be downloaded and the update applied the next time you launch the application.

Once we become feature-stable and can feel confident about the latest stable build becoming more permanent on users' machines, we'll migrate to an opt-in update functionality where users can decide if the update will be downloaded and applied.
HarvestMonster attempts to apply updates automatically in the background. If an update is available that isn't automatically applied, you will see an `Update Available` banner in the titlebar of the application.
