Issue

Expected Behavior

I’ve just done a new installation of suiteCRM 8.6 and I’m having a problem displaying certain special characters. Some french accented characters are displayed badly

Actual Behavior

Steps to Reproduce

  1. create a note (or a phone call) with French text like “L’été est arrivé et Noël est quand même passé”
  2. go to the account for which I created the note, and see this in the timeline
  3. L'été est arrivé et Noël est quand même passé

Context

It has nothing to do with my environment, because it's reproducible in the demo.

I believe this is a duplicate, I think I've seen similar issues before although I am not finding them now.
