🚀 Key Features

  • High Throughput Job Processing: Capable of handling thousands of jobs per second with configurable concurrency
  • Resilient Architecture: Implements retry mechanisms, exponential backoff, and circuit breakers
  • High Availability: Designed for zero downtime operation across multiple availability zones
  • Full Observability: Comprehensive metrics, logging, and distributed tracing
  • Cloud Native: Kubernetes-ready with proven scalability in production environments
  • Developer-Friendly: Clean API design with clear documentation and examples

💻 Engineering Excellence

Our team has implemented several sophisticated engineering practices in this project:

  • Advanced Concurrency Patterns: Leveraging Go's goroutines and channels for efficient parallel job processing
  • Production-Grade Resilience: Circuit breakers, dead letter queues, and intelligent backoff strategies
  • Infrastructure as Code: Complete Kubernetes manifests for declarative deployments
  • CI/CD Pipeline: Automated testing and deployment workflows
  • Extensive Test Coverage: Unit, integration, and end-to-end tests

🏗️ Architecture

The system consists of two primary microservices:

  1. API Service: RESTful interface for job submission and status checking
  2. Worker Service: Scalable processor for handling background jobs

Both services are backed by Redis for job queuing and state management, with options for Redis Sentinel or Cluster for high availability.
