Hi, it's a really great project. I immediately made a PCB to verify it. I used a 4-inch ILI9488 resistive touch IPS screen and modified some circuits. I used a mobile phone battery and speaker, and the size was made to be 100mm * 75mm * 18mm. I added an IP5306 charging circuit, and the output 5V powers the amplifier PAM8403. Although the IP5306 can make the LED flash to indicate low battery, I really hope to add a battery level display on the screen for a more intuitive view. I'm from China and I also hope the program can support Chinese display. Additionally, I added a clock chip like RX8025T-UB and sensors such as BME680 for air quality and SHT30 for temperature and humidity on the IIC bus. If it can display the ordinary clock and temperature and humidity, etc. without network or offline, and play music from TF card, it will be more fun instead of only seeing the WIFI setting interface when there is no WIFI.I

The audioI2S library can now work with the ESP32-P4. An Ethernet interface is often found on the ESP32-P4 boards. It therefore made no sense to display the "WIFI Settings" when the WiFi connection was not required.

I have no idea about the Chinese alphabet, but I'm sure a lot more characters will be needed. The character set requires a lot of additional flash, the current 4MB would certainly not be enough.
