scikit-hep/pyhf#1574 introduced Python 3.9 compatibility for pyhf. This means cabinetry should also be compatible with Python 3.9 after #248.

To add cabinetry support for Python 3.9 (scikit-hep/pyhf#1574 for comparison):

  • add to CI
  • update tests for head of dependencies to Python 3.9
  • add 3.9 to setup.cfg
